Going to the Channel Club 7/29-31. We have not been there in about 6 years. Anyone been there recently?

It's looks like money well spent!
We came with a total of 7 boats only two aren't members of the forum
Anchor Management
Delivering Happiness
Victoria Secret
New freedom
and myself
I guess there were only two none members
It was a great trip unfortunately there where a few mechanical issues before and during the trip I found myself hoping from boat to boat helping with repairs one was underway, I had to raftup to replace a hose clamp that broke and flooding a boat underway. The good news is we all made it there and back safely and all had a good time. I was bruised for several days from crawling into places my body wasn't meant to fit!

The channel club is one of the best marinas in the area IMHO. Glad you have a great time.

Who else was with you?

I invested some dough in the boat but am very happy I did, it does look like it just came out of the factory.

Replacement cost is off the chart at $2.7-3 million so a paint job is pennies on the dollar.

Dave has been saying he's leaving for many years, but he's always back.

Great place.
Check out Pier Village.
Lots to do.
Good eats in the area.
They will shuttle you.
Grab fuel on the way out - it's cheaper! Used to be real cheap!

We went a couple of years ago and met up with Walter and Dave. They have completely rebuilt the restaurant and the docks. It's a beautiful place, you will love it.
