I need to replace a few tattered bimini straps on my 2001 260SS. The dealer I purchased the boat (new) from is 3 hours away. I have not had much luck with a couple of other dealers getting these items.

Anybody have any ideas on how to get these straps? Is it possible to buy them from the manufacturer (Sunbrella ?) rather than Formula?

thanks, Peter

peter: yes any canvas shop can make them or you can buy the straps and snaps and make your own. Most boat parts other than fiberglass and wood stuff are made by other than the boat maker

Any canvass shop can make one.

That would be the straps that hold his bimini top down tight.

What's a bimini strap?

I doubt that anyone would have them, besides a dealer. Contact Ivancic marine in Cleveland, Oh. 216-631-2628, ask for Brian Crandall, he can order them for you.
