Posted - Mar 16 2012 : 09:16:21 The weather here in WI has been amazing for this time of year. In the 70's with a favorable long term forecast... That being said after a long 3 month and 3 week winter layup the boat saw the light of day...

Unfortunately none of the restaurants on the river have their docks in yet so we just had to lay the boat up wherever we could to go get lunch and our celebratory beverage

Looking forward to another great season...

In Edmunds WA I fished with a guy often and we had to go down an Elevator deck that went under water. We'd drop the trailer. He'd use his Jitney to Jockey the trailer onto the Elevator. We'd hop into the Boat with all we needed and he'd 'dunk' us. We'd drive off, he'd stash the trailer till we came back in. One good thing about that was the use of a Radio. It's how we let him know who was coming in. Also, that system almost made sure everybody fishing out of Edmunds had a Radio. |

The chimney option does add considerable weight and make her a little tender in beam seas, however it really keeps the soot down on the white gel coat... |

Posted - Mar 16 2012 : 11:23:05 Good pictures, I unwrapped last week, got the canvas up, checked all my systems and Wednesday I plugged in the block heaters. Thursday the diesels fired up sweet as can be so I took a little idle around the bay and went out into the lake to do a WOT check. Gee that felt good and three weeks early for me.
