There is a boat at the boat yard where we keep our boat. Owner is divorced and died recently.
He left his ex-wife as executor to his estate cause his kids were not good with money.
She is from the same small town I am from. So, she asked me to see if I could help her sell it cause it was costing the estate $200/month.
I looked at the boat, which has a good hull and diesel engines started up on first crank. But the rest of the boat is junk.
I told her to sell the boat to some shrimpers for the engines and running gear.
I also noticed a nice smaller dock box on the back deck. I asked how much and she said to take it for helping her figure out how to get rid of the boat.
It is double walled with a plug in the bottom to drain it.
It is 4 ft by 18 inch. Hit has legs and is very old, but in great shape.

I think I'm gonna find a cushion to put on top for a bench seat across the stern.

This is America. It's your box. You can use it for anything you darn well please.....Anatomically correct doll might be a stretch, but hey, it's your box!

Nice! But I think it's actually a Fish Box or Coffin Box...used to hold fish caught on the boat. Dock boxes aren't usually double walled and with a drain. Good score.

Glad you had a pix on the first post otherwise I'd have thought you were rebuilding an anatomically correct doll.
