I have snorkeled several times and would love to learn and get certified to dive. Great videos! Thanks for sharing.

Once you experience SCUBA you may never snorkle again.

In a housing from Olympus with ambient light.

I'm trying to upload more videos but I'm having problems with the connection.

Same here, I know nothing about scuba diving and always wanted to do it and get certified but after checking out some of required equipments and time involve, I just put it down on my "love to do" list.

Now I just need to find a red filter that will fit the front of my housing to cut down on the blue tint.

Check with a local dive shop as most have reduced rate beginner lessons that will include the rental equipment and try it. If you like it the shops also almost always have a rental purchase plan sorta like layaway except you can use it while you pay for it.

Awesome videos! Thank you for sharing! :-)

I am in the market for a new underwater camera. Though it has served me well for 25 years, it's time to retire my Hanimex Amphibian film camera :( Narrowing the search down to SeaLife Cameras so far, trying to keep it under $300 is a chore (with lights).

The boat is still in Costa Rica on the Pacific side. I am no longer with it. It got a new partner and let's just say we didn't see eye to eye on things. I left on good terms and with a good reference but now I'm looking for work. Merry Christmas! :-)

How's that place doing Bill? Any new improvements ? I'll have the opportunity to fish there again this year. Thinking about it.

You mean Marina Pez Vela? When I left they had plans in the works to start on the boat yard and a restaurant. But I don't believe any work has started as yet.

Jet Fin purist?

[Not that I'm knocking them - I loved my jets until I tried I-forget-what-they-are - a Jet knockoff with the same feel but a little less weight that didn't leave me walking funny after the first couple dives of the season]
