So I was speaking to a broker about a boat he was listing. I mentioned a 2003 Chaparral deck boat. He stated that Chaparrals of that vintage are hard to sell...... My question is there basis for this opinion?

Thanks!

Usuall because they are worth more than other brands. There is nothing wrong with them. Most people dont necessarily want/buy the best boat, they want one that there is a dealer for that brand nearby.

Chaparral consistantly beats other boat makers in quality and owner satisfaction surveys. I question the brokers motive for making that statement. I'd find another broker...
