I remember a post sometime ago that talked about accessing a storage space under the forward berth on a SCR 3500 but can't seem to find it again. I did take off the mattress, but don't seem to see how to get access to the space below. Anyone found how to access? Many thanks!

Boater3500,
The only place I can even see forward is with my head in the bilge from the salon floor. I am not aware of any storage under the bed. If you find it let me know.

Boater,
Went the boat last night. I pulled off the mattress in the bow and there are 2 diamond shape plates that are screwed on. If your emove them you can access the hull for inspection. I wouldn't call it storgae though.

Thanks for the info.

I also took off the diamond shaped accesses and there is alot of space under the berth, however, the access panel opennings are so small that you can't get anything into the space.

There is also a accees hatch under the kitchen table cushions that has a fairly good size openning. It is unfinished but I put a plastic box in it to store things.
