As our boat is waiting from some engine repair, my wife booked us onto a Seven day cruise to Alaska aboard the Golden Princess which had one of its stops in Glacier Bay. All I can say is WOW! Food was good, service was great and entertainment especially during the first half was truely outstanding. I highly recommend it.

With$ the mechanic$$ set for Tuesday$, hopefully we should be able to run around again the$ next day.

I am off work for 2 weeks, every month. When I take a vacation, I am off for 3 weeks a month.
I have 3 vacations a year.

Ray:

You need to take one or two of those 3 week vacations and come up here and do some serious boating in B.C. and Alaska waters.

You will never lose that bug if you don't "Just Do It!"

Dave:

Which stops did you make in Alaska besides Glacier Bay and Juneau?

Did you make it to the Red Dog Saloon in Juneau?

I was sure I could hear you singin'!

Is that floor in the Red Dog still layered in wood chips?

We also went to Tracy Arm, stopped at Skagway, ketchikan and Victoria on out way back.

We did not get to the Red Dog at Juneau as we went up the Tram, walked the trails and other touristy things. WARNING!!! For all those traving with your wife. Jewelery is considerably less expensive up here and my wife spent many boat bucks there.

We were lucky enough to see the glacier calve of four burges during our hour stay. The loud cracking noise is kind of earrie.

All and all a great trip.

Dave
