I have a 1979 Formula 233 with twin 470 engines and outdrives and I am studying how to change the lower shift cables while I have it apart replacing all of the bellows.
My main question is how to reach them on the inside? Hard to get between the engines to reach below to remove the shift cable wrapping on the inside of the transom or can the shift cable bellow be changed out without removing the shift cable?
