Looking at purchasing an 87 St Tropez w/ 454 Crusaders. Wondering GPH I will be looking at give or take. I dont have to be WOT or in a rush I can putt at 10 kts and I know it will depend on the load.

Thanks

Be sure to have deck cores and stringers surveyed in particular. Those models were known for delamination in those areas.

Not sure about the exact numbers but just wanted to say that I had a 1987 32' St Tropez with the 350 Mercs and it was underpowered. You should be happy with the performance. My stringers and core were checked and were fine, but as mentioned have them checked. Its a great boat, 454's should make it even more fun. I would guess 3000 RPM's would burn >20 GPH. My 40' Regal burns 30 GPH at 3300 RPM's with 454's with a 13' beam.
