I just purchased a 1991 34c and was wondering if anyone here had joined the silverton owners club?
It looks like for $28 you receive alot of info but looking rb2rb2@gr5tgr5t the message boards it looks like nobody had posted anything. Any body have any feed back it would helpful.

You cannot access the boards unless you join the SOC.
What you are looking is the format for the board.

I spend as much time over there as here. We can't endorse a competing site here though, so enough said. The message boards are busy , you just can't see them unless you are a member.

I have been a member for almost 10 years now. Using Boatered.com and the Silverton Owner's Club site I have access to a world of knowledge for the boating world. Boat sites are well worth my membership fees.......hence I have an anchor!

I was a member for about five years. I left when I sold my S-ton in '07. At that time I thought the woman who ran it was starting to get a little too comm'l. However, it was a small price to pay to get to the wealth of S-ton info and the occasional good deal available through them. Go for it.

Ditto

For the generic questions on boats I like BE better because you get a quick response and many of them do to the size of membership here.

For manufacture and model specific questions you can't beat IMHO, a site like SOC.

We belong at SOC too. It's worth it. Boatered and SOC are my favorite two boating sites.

I just joined Boater Ed but have been a member of the Silverton Owners Club for over seven years. I figured I'd join this club, too, on the chance that I might enjoy it and expand my horizons.

I was a long time member over at SOC when I owned my 2 Silvertons, one of the best owners clug on the internet. Maybe Searay/Meridian is bigger but the SOC was full of good people.
