I have finally found a job in Exeter and am very happy - albeit, broke! That's okay - I'm in a local company.

Now its my Captain's turn - please pray for hubby to get a job - after 38 years with the same company 4 different owners - he is without a job at 59 yrs old--parts of his 'line' went to guess where, Mexico!

We have been praying for all those out of work and the future of this country.

We have enjoyed this summer and spending quality time on the boat and in the clubhouse, yet wishing we had more $$ for fuel so we could go visit the Shoals and maybe downeast and finally take some boating friends up on their offers :)

That's great, Kim. Glad to hear it.

Lots of people are really hurting from this recession and it's really good to hear when a deserving person is able to get back to work and get their feet back on the ground. My hat is off to you for hanging in there and keeping the faith.

Congrats. I'm convinced that no one is secure anymore; you just need to be persistant, positive and kick the crap out of some doors until you've kicked in the right one.

I recently realized that at this stage of my life I'm now wise enough to know better, but old enough not to give a damn.
