Yes, but its the seating that I like. Almost all boats under 30' have two pedestal seats...

I fish mostly by myself so I need to be able to handle the boat with ease.

this is probably what I'll do this fall.

What you think of the Coastal?
In 2001, it was a toss up between the Coastal or the 290 Amberjack (New). It was a tough choice really liked the Coastal, but in the end chose the Amberjack, mainly because it was more family use, overnight friendly.

I love the interior of the Coastal...the 'L' port seat is excellent for having company on trips as you can all sit facing forward at the helm area.

What I didn't like was its not a deep vee. AJ is the same, more cruising then fishing...Great seating and comforts. Plus I like outboards for the fishing/boating I do. Which takes the AJ out.

And you know what I did eventually buy...
