Dave McDonald started a company here in Fresno some time back called Pelco. They were a hi-tect security/surveilance company that did extremely well selling products all over the world. He sold it to a foreign company a couple years ago and, of course, made a zillion on that sale. Don't know him, but he was well liked and gave away a ton of money to different causes. These are the few things I know and they may not be all accurate.
