Turned on the head system. Noticed the 1/2 inch white tubing directly on the back had come off of the toilet. Some gas smelling liquid came pouring out. Turned off the head system switch and it stopped.
What the heck does this pipe do?
EcoVac has two other lines, 1/2 inch blue (water?) and a 2" white drain.

Well I sure as hell didn't. I ran the sink and it didn't smell like gas. I'm assuming the blue line is water? What's the white line is the question?

the freshwater comes into the back of the foot pedal and when depressed the fresh water travels up the hose to the back of the toilet (usually has a siphon break on it) into the bowl. Fresh water is in it, if you have a gas smell my guess would be the same as Bruce's. If you goggle ecovac (I think it is made by Sealand) I'm sure you'll find a schematic.

Thats why I asked the question.quote: smelled like gasoline or sewer gas????????
Most likely is water gone bad. That usually smell like rotten eggs. Very common with raw water flushing.

Well going to the boat today. The water has been sitting for a long time. I never use it. We'll see.

Had someone check it out:
"I checked the toilet and found that the valve is staying open because of toilet paper not being flushed all the way down. It is a sewer smell that is caused from the toilet paper leaving the valve open. The smell is coming from the holding tank. The smell is not gasoline."
False, alarm, but three of us thought it smelled a lot like gasoline.
