Hey all.
My name is Anthony.
I own a Meridian 391 that I keep at Summit North on the C&D. We just moved her there this past weekend. I have boated on the Hudson, Long Island and Northern Jersey shore for the past 4 years.
I purchased my boat from Kent Narrows in 2007. Kept her at Summit North for a few months before moving her up to NJ. I spent a few weekends out on the boat in the Upper Bay and went down to Baltimore and Annapolis a few times.
We got bored with NYC area for boating and decided to make a change, and I very much enjoyed my time on the C&D and area, so it was an easy choice to relocate the boat.
We plan on making it down most weekends and will be spending a lot of time in the upper bay and Baltimore.
Just wanted to say hi!

Anthony, if you run into Frank & Sharon, say hi, they are wonderful folks - they used to keep their boat at PennyBridge.

Anthony,
Welcome!
We used to boat out of the Sassafras but a few years ago we built a home on Still Pond where we will be residing permanently beginning this summer. Sold the big boat (Silverton 351) when we built the house and now keep a 20' Wellcraft Classic on our own dock. Hope to see you at one of our informal and sometimes unscheduled get-togethers on the Upper Bay this year.

Welcome aboard, Anthony. Janet and I are keeping our boat at the Tomes Landing dry stack in Port Deposit this summer. The Chesapeake Inn on the C&D is one of our favorite lunch stops, ... not far from Summit North. Please say hello if you see us. What's your boat name? We'll say hello if we spot you.

Hi guys
Tonight we are in D2. Currently our slip is C13 but we are going to look at relocating to J or K. Met some very nice people up there. Going to talk to Marina staff on Sunday.
We are down for the weekend and just relaxing.did some shopping and got the soda and water supplies for the start of the year.
Our boat is named Gloria Angelina, a combination of ny mother and grandmother.

Summit North replaced docks? Last time we went through there, many seemed in bad shape...

Anthony,
I lived about 5 miles south of the Canal for ~23 years and spent many days at Summit North... While we recently relocated to Central Florida (work transfer), our memories of the area are still strong...
IF you tire of the long canal run out to the Bay, you may want to consider mooring in either the Bohemia or Sassafras River - we opted for the Sassafras... if you live in Bear, it is 15-25 minutes longer drive to get there, but more than 2 hours time and fuel $$ saved IN EACH DIRECTION when going south. MD registration and the related tax may well be a strong negative to this idea, however...
Best wishes to you and your family... Delaware was a great place to bring up my family and I do miss it often.

Millsan, great move. Loved the marina when we were there. However being only an 11knt boat, it took us forever to get somewhere, like the bohemia. Still, it was good driving home and being able to stop at the boat coming home from work. Tell Chris in the office Mr. Toad says hi! He's a good guy!!!! After Isabele in 200?, they raised their pilings. We were 18" from the whole docks floating away. Lost power at the house and spent a week on the boat where they did have power.
Hey DE Jim, we finally made it to FL. SW coast. The two blizzards back to back at the sasafrass in '10 and totaling our boat made us leave. Now boatless and looking for work. BUT, we have 14 crabbies in the trap out back. Crabapalooza Saturday!!! Miss the place but this is one of our changes we made vs. other life changers we had no say in. Cheers!
