I watched something similar to the first part (SUV and boat) happen at Myrtle several years ago. I'm still scratching my head over how one sacrifices the entire running rig over a ramp fee.

I'm suprised the original SUV was still running when they pulled it out. Do you think he went boating or just went home at that point?

I didn't see any proof that this happened in the south.

Based on the fact that several strangers just jumped in and put their vehicles at risk to help someone in need, I'd say that is prima facie evidence that it didn't occur up North or on the West Coast.

Nobody was stealing stuff out the cars so it surely didn't happen in Jersey or New York State and the fact that people could be in the water without dry suits eliminates Rhode Island, Mass. and Maine.

By the way all the vehicles involved drove out under their own power.

William; Didn't state that it happened in the South, only said that is was "southern style".

The speed by which two tractors arrived is pretty good evidence that it happened in the south.
