It is just the dish. I have the same one and I use mine to tailgate at NASCAR and Dolphin games. You have to have a subscription to Direct TV or Dish or whatever the Canadian service is and use your receiver. I just take the one from my bedroom when I need to use it. When boat is at a dock or not moving it works great.

I dropped it the other day and it broke. So now it doesn't tune squat. Buyer beware, if you go to purchase one of these used, the plastic gets brittle apparently from exposure. So inspect carefully.
