Need to replace a 24 year old Marine Air 12k reverse cycle unit. Still works but doesnt cool great and hard to regulate temp. Heard great things about Cruisair vector but about $2,300 plus control.

Is there a big difference from the cruisair to the
Marine air about $1500. They are both made by same company. Any other brand recommendations?

Have you had your current system serviced? You might just need some coolant.

17 knot cruise at 5mpg (3.5/gph). Two hulls are better than one!

The Vector will beat your old unit hands down. I was going to replace both my 4 year old MarineAirr units with them but I can no longer afford to throw money away.

These are all expensive options for both units.

I've used, king-air.net, for years they have great units. I replaces mine after 25 years because of the fan. I've installed many of them in other boats with no problems.

Webasto and King Air are both great units as well. I almost bought Webasto units because they had electric heating strips in them to work when the reverse air stops working on most of the other name brand units.
