With the temperatures predicted to be in the 90's this week, I am reconsidering my generator philosophy for Bowline Fireworks. I mean, come on....what are the odds? That is if the generator raft up will have me being that I seem to be the target of snipers these days.

Hank before we allow your targeted boat to join us, what did you do to piss off the fine upstanding young men in downtown Haverstraw?? If you can think of what you did you may want to consider changing your boat name again so they can no longer find Anchor Management... see you this weekend.... BK.. :--)))

It certainly looks like it's going to be a hot and steamy weekend! I about to head up to the boat, looks like a good day for the Jetski to keep cool!

Strange we had a good sized raft up in Bowline, but Hank never showed up. That being said no one shot at us even though he tried to put his name on my boat... What a great weekend.... Looking forward to the fireworks tomorrow evening....

Hogan what's wrong with your radio I heard you fine when you where in Croton but when you were in Bowline even being right next to you I couldn't hear you. When I saw you pull your anchor I tried to tell you to just join the raft up rather then resetting yours but I could get you on the radio.

I'm planing on only working half a day tomorrow then it's off to Bowline for an overnight! If I'm lucky I won't have any emergencies on the 4th and as of the 5th I taking off the rest of the week and heading to Norwalk:)

Were you on channel 69? When I called you on 68, your radio sounded staticy

No I was on 68 then I tried 16 thinking you didn't monitor 68 what was odd was others heard me and asked me about it. We may have been too close and needed to lower the output level but we should both check our equipment to confirm we don't have any problems. I know I will be testing mine later today.

Dave, I was only on 69. Use channel 24, you will get an automated reply from the SeaTow tower in Ossining. What's nice about it is that you actually hear your own message, you don't have to rely on someone else telling you how they think you sound.

Just checkin' this morning to make sure that everyone is awake and clear headed. At least from genny fumes or gun shots. Hope you all had a great night on the river.

We sure do miss watching the fireworks from the mudhole. One of the many things of the Hudson that I do miss.

Enjoy your 4th all!!

If you are not enjoying every single day, you are just depleting the oxygen supply for the rest of us!

All went well. The fireworks were spectacular and there were very few genny fights. Hard to tell on the bullets flying with all of the fireworks exploding. We all will be checking our hulls and report back. I can't figure out why my bilge pump keeps going on.

Hank my bilge pump usually only comes on to pump out water being you seem to be going through water quickly I would say you have a leak. You had tremendous pressure in you lines recently I not surprise to hear this the big question is where is the leak?

The leak may be in my humor. I meant my bilge was going off from the bullet holes.

Got you:) I may need the pressure release valve you bought recently I forgot that last year every time I run my boat for any length of time my water heater leaks out this trip I lost about 70 gallons of hot water in my bilge I guess that's one way to clean it.
