We really enjoy Tolchester. Granted, without a car there's limited things to do. But they've to a nice pool, a nice tiki bar, and a heck of a nice view.

Never been there but have heard great things. We'll have to try it. Do they have live music at the tiki bar?

I believe they have live music sometimes. You'd have to call them for their schedule as I think they're a little slow on their website updates.

Wes, the piers could use some updating. But it's still a nice stop.

Nice place! We've only been there mid-week when the bar is closed. Do they serve food?

Yes. They have a guy with a grill going on Friday and Saturday evenings. After that the bartender has a stock of very good wings and crabcakes she can heat up, along with some extra grill stuff (dogs and burgers). We had two crabcakes, an order of wings and about 3 rounds of drinks. The bill was around $50. Not bad in my book.

Probably sat next to ya that night Kurt and didn't know it. We were there Saturday and Sunday prior to heading to Rock Hall Monday for a couple of days.

We should all wear BE name tags when in public :-)

Although, looking at your signature, we might have been 2 slips down from you. We were up against the bulkhead in our power cat and there was a Cruisers boat two slips off my port side. Was that per chance you?

Yep. I saw you guys come in. Our friends from our marina were on the other side of you with a 35' Carver. Go figure...maybe next time.

I think it is the best sunset marina on the bay. If you are tall, and they put you undercover, they do not warn you about antenna height. I did watch a couple shakesp. being snapped off, and fortunately they weren't mine.
