I hope you're planning on moving up rather than out. This place just wouldn't be the same without you.

Exceptionally clean and roomy is an understatement, but that's simply the way I would describe this vessel! If you're in the market for a 28-30' boat, this is the one to look at! Who better to buy a Carver from, than our very own Carver expert!

Our old boat! I can attest that there's no bigger or better 27 made.

Did you take out the 'changing room' door or did Carver do that in 88?

She looks sharp.

I took out the door and bulkhead a few years back. It took away that "hallway to a table feel" that the boat had and now just feels as roomy as it is.

Hi Jim,

We've got a deal inked on a 1998 Carver 310 Santego. It's getting surveyed this coming week. We're really excited about it! We're going to name her "Partner Ship"

Kenny,

I'm really happy for you! I think you'll love her! I know you liked the Montego, and they are great boats, but you made a wise decision! I ended up going to CP and getting a dock. I'll be on pier 7. You're wise to get a boat that fits in the express side. I am going to miss it and the value/location they have over there. Does she have i/o's or inboards?

Bob,

I think our old girl is doomed for a life of uncertainty. The broker wants her gone and I almost lost my dinner over the offer he tentatively accepted. If you know of anyone willing to ship her, she can be had very inexpensively. I'd deliver her back to your area for expenses and a minimal fee. That trip was a blast!

We shall remember her good days!

Jim

Kenny...I made the move up from a Mariner to a Santego. The difference in handling from a flat hull to a modified V is like day and night! Hope the survey goes well.

Thanks everyone! Jim, the boat has twin Mercruiser 350 Mag inboards (v-drives) and should cruise in the 26 to 28 MPH range at around 16 to 18 GPH. Not quite as economical as the 27, but still not awful
