Folks, I have to get from Amityville cut (coming from Lindenhurst) to a house that is on east shore dr in massapequa. Looks like its the carman creek.. Past the riviera catering hall. Boat is a 31 footer, draws 3 feet with bravo drives, suggestions on route, gotchas, fellow boaters?
Thanks,
Ed

Fairly simple. Once you get to the Amityville cut, head west in the channel, youll come to a 5mph sign, turn north, those houses that will be on your port side is east shore drive. Stay pretty close to the houses, as there is not a lot of water in that cove...

Couldn't agree any more with that route. One caution. As BoatCrazy said, when you make the turn north at that 5mph fence/ sign the water gets very thin. If possible, plan your trip at a higher tide to give you more flexibility.
