Question re BoatU.S. towing insurance. Have always taken the minimum membership level. I believe this is $150, towing on water level. Regrettably, I bought some real estate this past Sunday. I do this every 25-30 years. Tow BoatU.S. came to my rescue. At $220/hr. charged me ½ hour for $110. OK, then $13/ft for 37’ vessel = $481 to tow me about 40’ into channel. OK, no problem. Total $591 to tow me < 100 feet. Still no problem; question being; should not my out of pocket expense be $441 ? I was billed $191. Not complaining , just curious why the discrepancy ? Too dumb too leave well enuff alone !
