Hi:
I am new to this forum, and new to WellCraft. I just bought an 87 St. Trope 32'. It was a hurricane Sandy rescue. I got quite a deal on it so I couldn't say no.
I was on land when the storm hit so it floated up, went down, and had a small hole punched in it. The boat did not take on water. The interior and motors are in excellent shape.
I have a question...
On the starboard stern about 2' above the platform, there's about a 4" hole. There are 4 screws sticking out (like they were hand turned in).
What is this for? First I thought vent....then my fiberglass guy showed me a hose just under it in the bilge.
Washdown fitting?

What are your thoughts???

Thanks!
Frank

Seems to be it's from shore water assembly

I have an 87 St Tropez and there are no holes or screws in the area you are describing. On the port stern there are screws for the boarding ladder?

Hi:

I found out recently that it is in fact a fresh water input into the system.

Thanks!
