I guess everyone has sold their Regals? No posts since Jan. 31st, wow this used to be an active group. What has everyone been doing? Where have you been going and what's exciting out there?

Wish I hadn't but that's a long story. Can't afford another one, but the fly bridge (forget the model) is on the distant radar.

On my second Regal!
First 4080 Hurricane Sandy took away.
Second 4080 I am finally in love with after a rocky start with me being afraid of the draft. But after running it a last season, this season I am really enjoying it. Plus the diesels are awesome.

I'm still alive & kickin'. All my Regal specific posts are over 'there'.

Guys, please don't use this forum to promote other forums. Les has asked me to be diligent in that regard and I respect that.

Thanks for understanding.

I really wish Regal had come out with the "rumored" sedan bridge based on the 52/53' hull. We would love to have stayed in the Regal family.

Last I heard is that when the economy tanked the plans got put away for good

I don't know, maybe when I retire to a boat I will want something over 50' but when I go on a 50' boat I am amazed how big it is and realize I don't need all that space!

I like my smaller 40'.

We spend weeks at a time on the boat and things like a real washer and dryer are very important to us. Believe me if we could have figured out how to install one on the Regal we would have. I had a plan but the Admiral didn't like the idea of mounting it up over the mid cabin

Just as well. It would have caused a negative feng shui with the window air conditioner hanging out the side of the hull!
