I am looking to buy a handheld GPS unit and would like to get one with some form of color charting capability.

I've looked at the Lowrance, Garmin and Magellans on the web and still don't know which one is better for the money.

I am renting a 26' center console in the Bahamas and plan on going fishing. The boat does not have a depth finder so I thought that the gps with some decent charting capability would help me locate the shelfs I want to fish off.

Any ideas?

And yes, Boatfix will be getting the order.

Jonathan
