Goods Policy
OUR
ERROR
Goods that are shipped to you incorrectly
through an error on our part, namely an
incorrect part number or a packaging
mistake, will be accepted for return at no
charge and any return shipping charges you
may incur will be credited to your account.
We will, immediately upon notification,
reship the correct material and will credit
your account for the incorrect material upon
receipt.
YOUR ERROR
We are available every business day via both
phone and email to discuss any questions you
may have regarding our products and to help
ensure that you receive the correct part.
However, if you order material that is then
shipped to you and received by you, the
material is then subject to a restocking and
handling charge as determined by the
manufacturer and BoaterEd, typically 5-15%.
In the case of special orders, some material
may not be returnable, subject to
manufacturer's policies. In all cases, the
material to be returned must be returned
with all of its original packaging, insured
for the value of the product and in "as new"
condition, shipped in a separate box. All
requests for product return must be made via
email and all material must be received by
us within 15 days of your date of receipt.
Material received without a Return Material
Authorization number will not be accepted
and credit will not be issued. You are
encouraged to call or write to us to ensure
that the product you are purchasing is the
correct one for your application. Software,
Videos and products that are software based
or are considered Consumer Electronics, like
DVD players and Two-Way radios, are not
returnable - unless the product is
defective. Orders for BoaterEd
subscriptions are not cancelable or
returnable.
PRODUCT WARRANTIES
BoaterEd has diligently researched the
sources of its merchandise and represents
only items of the highest quality. HOWEVER -
- BoaterEd makes no warranty, expressed or
implied, over and above that of the
manufacturers of the products purchased. All
product is covered by the producer of the
item purchased and any claims should be
directed appropriately. Copies of these
warranties are available upon request.
DAMAGE/LOSS/SHORTAGE
Product packaging is done with care to
insure that your order is received in good
condition. For shipment via U.P.S., U.S.P.S.,
or common carrier, please note the
discrepancy, damage, etc., on freight bill
and immediately file the proper claim with
the delivering carrier. Damage and shortage
of packages is the responsibility of the
delivering carrier. Shipping is FOB,
shipper.
SOFTWARE
Software is only returnable only if
defective. Defective software may be
returned for replacement only. Chart
Cartridges, DVDs, VHS tapes, etc. are
considered software because they can be
copied.

BoaterEd will notify you as quickly as possible and you
will have the option of canceling the order or accepting
the new pricing. Some orders can not be cancelled once
processed, including orders for special products,
software and non-inventory items. All pricing on this
site is in US Dollars and does NOT include shipping,
duties, taxes or other charges levied on international
orders .
PRIVACY
BoaterEd, Inc. collects no
personally identifying information about individuals except
when specifically and knowingly provided by such
individuals. In addition, BoaterEd, Inc. may place a
"cookie" in the browser files of a user's computer. The
cookie itself does not contain any personally identifying
information although it will enable the site to relate a
user's use of the site to information that the user has
specifically and knowingly provided to BoaterEd, Inc..
BoaterEd, Inc. will NOT use such information for marketing
and promotional purposes and WILL NOT share, sell or
