This has been a great season more fantastic weekends then I can count! Unfortunately today I took the last ride of the season and dropped my boat off to be hauled. The boat isn't even out of the water and I'm already counting the days until next season. The good news is I still have a few friends with boats in the water for me to visit.

We left Aruba at noon yesterday and were back up on our boat at 7:30 PM. It was a dreary night, but it's always good to be on board.

We still have a couple of weekends left.

This weekend was a lot of work, almost done winterizing the boat, also changed the coolant in my genny and replaced the fiberglass exhaust tubes on both engines. Hopefully it will reduce the smell on the boat. Next week all I have left is fuel filters and anty freeze.

Taking stuff off, I dropped my George Forman overboard. Need Starry Night to go scuba diving for it.

Dave come on down. :D

The season is just starting to roll.

That sucks! Why not just leave it on board?

Dan I would love to but this work think keeps getting in the way!

My boat was hauled today so it's official the season is over! I just have to winterize the motors and AC and I'm done.

I'm thinking a Bowline raftup this weekend?

Who's left in the water?

We're still in the water, let's see how the weather will be.

Dan - I am thinking of doing just that at the end of next season. I get 8 weeks of vacation a year and currently have 12 on the books. with only 5 to go untill retirement, plus holidays I figure I can spend a couple of few weeks there just about every other month.

I met Silver Lining this weekend (he has a slip in my marina now) and after listening to him talk about it I am pretty sure I am going to try and find a way to do that.

Bringing boat back up to Stony Point for winter storage then heading down to Puerto rico for the winter. Think i'll be back in Stony Point next season. Having the boat down in the city made for great views especially at night but that about it.

Well, since the summer is over and the last of the boats will be pulled shortly, the best I can surmise, we are about 30 days from "my marina is better than yours".

I think this winter is going to be free from bashing marinas as we all or most of us almost ended up under the same roof! Any way it has to wait until after my party!

Heck with that I'm not waiting!
MY MARINA IS BETTER THEN YOURS!!!!!

We are planning to stay on board Wed night, then spend the weekend back on board.
