CURRENTLY NEGOTIATING A NEW 2009 - 2250 REGAL. POWER OPTIONS ARE MERCRUISER 5.0L MPI OR A MERCRUISER 5.7L CARBURATED WITH A BRAVO ONE OUTDRIVE. BOAT IS USED ON AN INLAND LAKE NOT USED FOR TOWING. LOOKING FOR SUGGESTIONS OR RECOMMENDATIONS.

Please, no all caps as it is considered shouting!!!!

Thank-you

A 2009 with a carburated engine? I didn't think they made those any more.

STOP YELLING.

I have a 25' with a 5.7 EFI and that is sufficient power(5300 #'s dry). I don't think I would have gone any lower, but carburated vs. MPI is a good question. I bet the 5.0 is rated close in power to the 5.7, however probably more torque on the 5.7 for holeshots.

Are there any good deals on an '08 leftover? If not, a used 2006 is probably 30% + cheaper.

Sorry about the caps, was not aware of the significance. Thanks for the initial feedback.
The HP difference between the 5.7L carb(250 HP) and the 5.0L(260 HP) 10. Just curious about the bottom vs. top end argument? We are not WOT folks and like to cruise at 30 - 35 MPH. We have a very good deal worked out so non current is not an issue, thanks for the heads up.
