If anyone is interested, I know a guy who can laser etch a photo onto plexiglass. I had him do it of my boat onto a mirror in my cabin and it came out great. You can also light them up, I'm going to try that this year.

I'm curious what the ballpark price is for the one you had done?
 
I'm guessing you really like it Pete, what with the triple post and all!
 
There are companies that sell decals that look just like an etching. Send a pic and they make the decal. If you get tired of it you can remove it, no harm, no foul.
 
Hey Mike, you never posted the "ball park" price for this. Any chance?
 
I forgot all about it, let me look and see if I can find some record of what I paid.
