Leaving 6/15 for the C&D

Weather permitting the Green Eyed Lady will be leaving Sandy Hook on Friday morning and should arrive at Summit North early afternoon on Saturday. We are looking forward to spending 6 weeks on the Chesapeake and meeting some RO's and making new friends. Scott M I'm looking forward to seeing you at SH.

Well, 6 weeks ought to give you just enough time to scratch the surface. Lots and LOTS of places to go and things to see on the Bay. Looks like you'll be in the neighborhood if we pull off our get-together on July 14th.

Good choice!
 
I need to confirm with the Admiral but I believe we are having guests 7/13 through 7/16 and plan on doing the usual tourists stops like Baltimore and Annapolis. If I'm wrong I will definately would like to join.
 
Without a doubt, hit this group up for information. There's an endless supply of good marinas, towns, and anchorages on "the Bay". Don't miss Rock Hall (Miss Virginia's Crab Cakes are to die for). And for a nice dinner (Thurs-Sun), try Worton Creek Marina. The marina is $1.50/foot and the food is, well, some of the best I've ever had.
 
Kurt, thanks for the info, I have gotten some real good ideas from this group on the "Where to cruise" thread. I'm hoping that we can join the group in July and make some new friends.

Good deal! Drop me a pm or email and let us know where you are docked. We spent the whole day at SN and Bohemia River today (saturday). Did not see your boat, but had a lot of distractions (kids). Absolutely gorgeous weekend, so I imagine your trip was great.

Small craft warning and 5-7 seas kept in our homeport on Friday so we decided to pospone a week. Long range forecast looks good so far looking forward to meeting up with everyone.

Wow, 5-7? We left the slip Friday morning and came back Sunday evening (Rock Creek to just north of Gibson Island...I call it "Eagle Cove"), never saw anything over a foot. NEVER trust those NWS guys! :-)

I claimed in another thread we might have done Still Ponds last weekend, but we didn't. Post back here where you'll be and perhaps one of us might see/meet you.
