Still good out there

Actually he should have been fined for reckless operation or something. Anything. We had a great experience coming south from Ravena's shindig. We're heading south pushing a wake at 13 knots. The kind the ski's love.
So a local sheriff starts following us. Me, thinking this is going to move forward like our annual inspection in NY Harbor, just keep pushing along waiting. So it happens. A ski comes at us head on and jumps the wake right into the deputies face. It was great! So he writes him up and then catches up with us. Yet again, as we move south we pick up more skis and this deputy is having a field day. But the best was the bowrider that came at us and cut right under our bow! They went by the stbd side all holding beer cans up saluting us. Yup, the deputy saw the whole thing and they got the blue light special.
Pro'ly the best ride south I can remember. Freedom 3, a$$holes 0.
 
OK Got the picture now , at least you guys asked them to knock it off first . I know it sounded like a stupid question but was just currious. You would think with all the room out there they would find somewhere to play without P---ing anchored boats off, I always hear about that going on but have just been lucky enough I guess ,not to have ever had to deal with that nonsense.

Wonder how they would feel if they stopped for a drink and we decided to un-hook and run circles around them for a while, only sounds fair :)
 
jon, the reason they were in there was that it was too rough out on the river, however, they were wrong and dangerous.
 
Gotcha Hogan, I know I'm dumb as a rock but I kinda figured that one out, probably the same reason boats were in the bhole too, I guess.
What gets me is the same old thing a few make us all look bad, I like my jet skis and my boat so I get stuck on the fence sometimes.
Remember back in the day when the hole was a great place to water ski by day ? and a nice mellow anchorage around sundown, seems like it used to work out back then.
Glad to hear you made it down south for a little R&R, was hopping your gonna share some pics with us if you had time like you usually do , aleays nice to see them while i'm stuck in the office , to daydream a bit.

Ken don't worry about it! You're doing a very good thing. Heck, I used to have a weekly charitable contribution to the united way since they were the means to donate to the boy scouts. When the boy scouts took a stand on an issue, the united way dropped the boy scouts. So my contribution changed to 100% boy scouts and that's where it remains.
I figure parents have a right to chose how their kids are influenced.

And thanks for taking care of them! I know there are people out there who appreciate it.
