the trim gauge on the boat has not worked on my 1983 searay 26 ft i belive this is the sundancer model i have also heard it refered to as da unsure of the real model but anyways does anyone have any wiring diagrams for the trim or information on this for me thanks alot

The trim data comes from a unit screwed onto the outdrive. There is a circular "puck" on each side. One is the trim sender, the other shuts off your trim when your outdrive gets so high. These are in salt water so the wires do get brittle and break. You may need the outdrive off to replace them. Replace both sides the next time you service the drive. They come as a set, I believe. It could also be the gauge, but more likely the sender.
