Hello, I am new to the Carver Family, having recently traded in my open bow runabout in for a 33ft 1985 Carver Monterey with twin inboard 260 Merc's.

I have never owned a cruiser style style boat before, so please, share any tips you may have about docking, on-board water, shore-power, heads, etc ... I would be happy to learn some of the insider tricks .. as I have a pretty wife that I need to impress ... :)

slow backing in is easier.checkthe sanitary lines for permiation. Nothing impresses the wife like asmelly boat

My $.02
Docking - I 100% agree with with David - GO SLOW and practice, practice, practice.
Not sure what you would like to know about shore power or on board water...your salesman or previous owner SHOULD have answered any questions you have.
The head - don't forget to pump it out!!!
Impress your wife by getting her involved in the process...what if you become incapacitated?
Welcome to the family!
