The way I see it, the water from the front compartment drains into the fuel tank compartment and from their drains to the bilge area. If I were to leave the cover on the fuel tank, it would stay wet in there so I always store my boat with the fuel tank cover off so it will dry. Am I missing something here or is that a poor design?
