does anyone know around what range i should be getting on a full tank?

twin 7.4L 454's
(2)125 gal tanks

Speed? Wind? Tides? All are factors. Figuring 33GPH (inclusive of a 10% reserve factor) at 25 MPH you should be getting ~190 miles per tank.

YMMV.

Each boat is different. I have a 340 Sedan with twin 350 270hp ea
with my gph meter on the bridge. I do about 8 gph per engine at 3100-3200 going
17-20 knots. I would suggest getting a flow meter that tells how many gph you are doing. I will say that I have saved so much gas using it. I also have a meter that tells me
If both engines are synchronized or not. Using both has saved us about 1 full
200 gallon tank a summer.
Its worth the money. In your case with 454¡¦s you could save one to two tanks a summer.
Here in Seattle at 3.75 a gallons, well I see the savings ļ

Wow. 16 gph on a 34 SRSB at cruise? That's about 1.4 mpg. I would have guessed your mpg to be around .6 to .75.

While great MPG, is it optimum? I'd like to see the numbers from hull speed to WOT. I bet there are some surprises in there.
