I have been using Stoner Invisbible Glass window cleaner on all my boat's windows, and it works great. But I just replaced the Acrylic in my Bowmar Hatch and wanted to make sure to use the right cleaner from the new beginning.
The Invisible Glass label specifically states not for use on polycarbonate but said nothing about acrylic. So I emailed Stoner and a quick reply was that:
"No, we do not recommend Invisible Glass be used on clear plastics. Long term use could result in a hazing effect."
My question is: Does anyone know what the large oval (eyes) windows are made out of. I always thought it was glass, but now I think it may be acrylic or polycarbonate.
