I have a 1999 Glastron Sx175 with a 3.0 liter Volvo Penta SX. It overheated 2 summers ago, at the end of the year, so we just garaged it and would get it fixed the next summer. So we did that, said it was headgasket made snes got it fixed, then we wrecked the flywheel, and another headgasket, and all this the mechanic said it would be fixed, so we said fix tis boat, weve dropped 3 g's on it with you. SO he sent the whole engine out to be checked out and rebuilt, so we get it back runs fine at the end of the seasons LAST summer. SO now the start of this summer, Runs fine first time, second time runs fine, get ito ut of the water, check out by by the engine, fricking bolt that holds the starter on is broken Mind you the starter was busting bolts becasue their was water in the cylidners after we went through two headgaskets, and the mechanic said a new headgasket would fix it. And here we are, a year later back to square one, any ideas, weve used the hardest bolts known to man to hold the starter in.
