Lighter friends? How about shifting all unessential stuff as far forward as possible, making sure you have the correct prop to achieve the correct WOT, having a clean bottom (on the boat too!) and then make sure the trim tabs are down, the drive is all the way down and then hope for the best. Assuming it's in a good state of tune, there isn't much you can do unless you want to drop down in pitch to get on plane a little quicker but that will cost you some top end. Everything is a trade off. I know when we go out, even if it's just a overnighter I fill the stupid water tank to the brim!! Why? I don't know! Then we have to empty when heading back to the trailer. We probably use 5 gallons, but I make sure I have all 240 lbs on board!
