3067 vs. 3070

not sure what a 3070 would be as Carver never made a boat with that model designation. The 3067, however, is a nice lower profile flybridge cruiser with a huge cabin for the boat's size and was made from 1988 thru 1994.

I don't have alot of experience with the 3007, but from what I remember, it has alot of interior space with the aft cabin but may be a bit narrow for her length? It is a similar design to the later and more popular 3207 which sold like gangbusters until it was replaced for 1991. I guess the biggest difference for you to ask yourself about is...do I want a sedan or an aft cabin? The Santego (3067) will be relatively quick when compared to the 3007 and will ride better because of a deeper vee hull compared to the 3007.

ok thank you I think i'll go with the 3067 i currently have a 2757 so it will be a big jump but I think my wife is in love with the 3067

The 3007's upside is the well designed cabin. The downside is the flat bottom ride. It's really set up for 17 mph or higher. It wallows quite a bit at lower speeds. This can be solved by replacing or extending the rudder. We'd done it had we kept our 3007.

The 3067 is the logical jump from the 2757, as opposed to the aft cabin 3007 or 3207. Performance will be more of what you are accustomed to, along with the accomodations, handling, and visibility...

The 3007/3207 is basically a floating condo, although a rather seaworthy one. A very roomy, plush boat with lots of amenities...
