I'm still shopping for a 32 foot '86 Mariner and have noticed that there are two versions of the same layout. One has the wetbar in the salon starboard corner and the other has a closet there instead. Please give me some background on those differences and if those versions are unique to that year.
Thanks,

they were both available the entire run of the boat. Personally, the wet bar is what I'd be looking for...who needs another closet other than the one in the master stateroom. It also opens the salon up a little

I've got the wetbar setup on my boat. The sink is a catch all for the hose nozzle and scotchbrite pad. We've never used the fancy plastic champagne glasses in the decorative display cabinet although the lighted cabinet look real purty at nite. The countertop space is utilized for the portable tv and the kid's game console and that is quite efficient. The storage cabinet underneath is where I keep all my tools which I find very handy. With the exception of the counter space where we have the tv, I'd rather have the closet space-the sink and glass cabinet are pretty much a waste of space IMHO.
