Pumped over 40 gallons of water from area of A/C water intake. No hull leaks. Where did water come from? A/C condensate rain?

Can't help a lot, but first identify if water is sea water ( water from outside ) or "fresh".

This will help reduce the amount of leak tracing required.

How long do you think the water has been building up? Yes, it could be condensation. Have you checked your sump pump to make sure water is flowing in and out of it...assuming you do have a sump.

It is fresh water coming from the salon A/C unit. There is no bilge pump or sump pump to service that area of the boat. I am seeking anyone that has this model to let me know if a pump was added and if so where.
George

Regal added a bilge pump in that area around 2003. I installed a condensator manufactured by Mermaid. It been operating fine for the 19 years I've owned the boat.
Search for "condensator by Mermaid"

Thanks Gary. I'll have to figure out where to run the line for a pump.We keep the boat at the house at our dock so we run the A/C a lot. I would assume that the bulkhead between the salon and the engine compartment is sealed off solid. I will put this out and see if someone has done it.
