This is the second year I've winterized on my own. First time I ran on muffs and after warmup opened valve to let 5 ga AF enter the system via stern drive water pump. This year I drained block, manifolds, risers and backfilled w/ AF via thermostat housing and hoses. Do I need to do anything to get any remaining water out of the sterndrive? I trimmed up and down several times and no more seems to be coming out, I just want to be sure. Boat has a 1981 Mercruiser 260 in it.
