Ok guys and gals here we go im geting frusterated and am running out if ideas.
heres my problem:
I have an 85 omc 1.6L 115hp outboard
the motor runs fine for about 1 hr then looses power I can still run at about 5 mph at 1/4 throtle but when I apply more throtle it will die and then have trouble starting. I have replaced the spark plugs and wires, the opower packs and its still doing the same. the engine has plenty of water coming out from the waterpump so I dont think its a heat issue but the cowling is off a 2.6l omc so mabey its heat around the motor affecting the power packs.
what do you all think
