Doing a windlass wiring project. I have a 89 25 sundancer and having a problem trying to figure out how to get the wire into the anchor locker, I'm running it from the engine compartment along the starboard side behind the head and under v berth. Any suggestions? Thanks

The 87 250 DA had some wiring that was routed up the portside along with the plumbing for the freshwater system. It was hidden very well and tucked high along the outside edge. It even ran around to the head on the starboard side. I think the way you routed it is easier. Through the same holes that the head uses, tuck in behind the cabinets of the bathroom into hanging closet and into the starboard side of the V-Berth and then into the anchor locker. I can't remember the elevation of the floor of the anchor locker compared to where the top inside of the V-berth would enter into the locker? Is it high enough to keep water from entering the V-berth? I think that will work, but you'll still have to drill some holes. Just make sure you epoxy the raw edges to keep water from getting into the wood. I don't see any problems?

Sea Ray generally runs the wires up the port side. Bring the wire from the engine compartment to port then go forward. It is a straight shot. Once I got the wire into the cabin on my 89 30' it was rather easy.
