A Big Thank you

We had a serious injury on our boat last week while anchored at Tices Shoals Our nephew slipped and impaled his forearm on a rope cleat . I'm writting this to Thank the Coast Guard , NJ Marine police and the lifeguards and staff of Island State park whose response time was nothing short of Fantastic and to the other two boats who helped with their jet ski and Inflatable a BIG Thanks , ( I have spoke to one of these Good samaritans since ) and I have taken steps to prevent this from happening again, Thanks again Ed & Laura

How is your nephew doing?

That sounds like a very freak accident. Do you have the type of cleats that taper to almost a point on the horn?

He is doing great ,14 year olds bounce back quickly , Our cleats do not come to a point , the end is 1/2 dia. and squared off. Thanks for asking, Ed
