I asked above in the plumbing section and they suggested I ask here. I have a 24ft Bayliner Trophy and am trying to find how to access and repair the live well thru the hull fitting on the starboard side and the mid bilge pump. I had a significant amount of water that filled the boat and it did not come from any of the boots or bellows in the outdrive. My mid bilge automatic pump did not work and thus the flood. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No reply yet so here's mine:

Usually you have to look around the boat to find how you access something. You might have to remove a panel, cabinet, seat, etc.

There's a Bayliner owners forum on the Internet but you'll have to search for it yourself. I won't insult BoaterEd by posting the link.

And lastly, a Bayliner dealer will know how to get to it.

Thanks Rawidman.....I have looked high and low and have found a couple such access hatches but have not seen the live well fitting yet. By the way, is your ire over Bayliner because of the boat or the forum......I have my own issues with the forum as they won't let me post for some reason and I am a man of good character, sharp wit on occasion and just plain good guy and have owned Bayliners since 1984....go figure

No "ire", BoaterEd doesn't like people posting links to competing websites. That's not unreasonable.

I used to visit the forum from time to time. Not everything is just for Bayliners. I haven't been on it for a good while.

Some of my best friends own Bayliners!
