Does anyone have knowledge of how the top studs on the aft bolster are fastened to the hull. They go thru three holes on the stern but no way to access them to place a nut on them.

Aft bolster on the transom?
They are just screwed in.
Look under the bolster.
Lift the bottom up on the sides and in the middle and you will see screws holding it.
Unscrew them and it will tilt up and come off.
