An All Terrain....Boat?

I could see them as a tender on your super yacht anchored off a Med beach. Easy for the ladies.

These things have been around for years. Surprised they re still in business because I can’t see any benefits. Ton of extra weight as a tender, more maintenance for something that’s real not even practical on land. And then they are very high when on land requiring a ladder.

There is a company out there that make amphibious Jeeps which perform well both on land and water. I ve seen a couple over the years

The Amphicar was a dog as well. Fun, but a dog.

One of the "Alaska " shows has a guy living on Kodiak island, I believe, and he is a bear h7nting guide. He has one, not sure of brand, with wheels the he uses to go ashore in the rough beach terrain. It works for his use because land access does not exist and a plane has limitations as well. Beyond his specific use I can't see a value.

Interesting, I've met a couple of guys up there who have landing craft type boats to get to their off grid places along the coast. Most have a 4 wheeler or UTV to carry.

Seems a much more logical solution than an overly complicated landing craft.

I think his use is not for around his place, but instead to deliver hunters to bear areas he has scouted before season. Rather than established camps it's more of a temporary drop camp setting. I guess it also lets him get his boat above the tide line. I'm just guessing though as I've only seen the show a couple of times.
